hoosierhunter
All I can say is thank you. 10,000 drop backs is just unreal when you sit back and think about it. Regardless of what you think about him, his love of the game and sheer determination got him there. Simply unreal.............
mikebohio
i think its the greatest feat in all of professional sports. watched him play against my beloved steelers. they were kicking his butt. he went to the sideline ,puked up blood, went back in the game and threw a touchdown. thats one tuff dude. The Kid
Boo Hoo...I milked cows twice a day for 18 years plus field work in between.. sick or not i dont think those cows hit as hard as ray lewis, this guy is a modern day superman, whether you like him or not this is one record that will probably never be broken, to start that many time is just unheard of, they dont make QB's like they used to

The_Kat
It could be broken if a player would play til they were in their 40's instead of retired in their 30's.

Ravin R10 man
Kid..I know you never been kicked by a cow for sure,... Ive had my cheek bone broke, a nasty cut above the eye,the retina damaged beyond repair, resulting in a blind spot dead center of the eye.. and a molar cracked in half, requiring a root canal.... that one knocked me to my knees...that was "one" kick...that was in the am milking....I didnt miss eve milking that day either As for Mr. Interception...he shoulda been on the bench half the time, instead of throwing the ball away. he's been washed up for a few years back when he was with the pack, ya he likes to play..but there comes a time to quit... Ravin R10 man
I guess one of those kicks knocked a few screws loose upstairs eh? That was from just "ONE" kick that all that happened, at 5 am it woke me up for sure, did chores then spent the day in town at the eye doctors dentist and hospital..and home by 5 pm to do chores again! As far as having a screw loose..?? well, I guess I'd have reason enough..but I refuse to make any sports figure an Idol Edited December 15, 2010 by Mathews XT Man

Ok. I will agree that a cow can knock the **** out of you with a well placed kick. I dont doubt your level of injury for a moment. I also know how much work a dairy farm is. However, taking hard hits from big men, week after week, year after year, is much harder on the body. If Favre can get up and walk in another 15 years I will be suprised. His long career will catch up with him eventually. The human body can not take that kind of beating that many years and not have some major issues later on down the road. The man is a legend, and in my opinion, one of the toughest men to ever play the game. Ive never been a fan of the teams he played for, but I respect him. ruttinbuc
Regardless of what you think of him as a player or a person, you can't take away an endurance record like that. No one says you have to put the guy up on a pedestal, but at least have the courage to recognize what it takes to play the game.
