I never thought of it before, but a tomatoes skin is kinda human like....weird. American science fiction writer and founder of the Church of Scientology L. Ron Hubbard uses his Hubbard Electrometer to determine whether tomatoes experience pain, in 1968. His work led him to the conclusion that tomatoes "scream when sliced." I bet the tomatoes were not even fully informed of what the experiment was about, let alone given a copy of their privacy disclosures. I'll never eat another BLT again...... till summer anyway. HuntingPA Posted December 17, 2010 Report Share Posted December 17, 2010 (edited) The sad thing is the guy probably got a 10 million dollar grant from the government to do the experiement......hmmm wonder if I could run my trail cams off all the of the activity going on in tomato plants, I could save a ton on batteries, but the deer likely would not come around with all the screming going on.
