MCH
Seeing the other post reminded me that I'm looking for a new Bag Target... I've got a Morrel Wal-mart Bag that cost me around 25 bucks. It was a good bag but after about a thousand arrows, it's showing some wear. Here's my dilemma....our Wal-mart doesn't carry archery supplies until Fall. We don't have a Sporting Goods store nearby, so I'll probably have to order online. Any idea on a good bag target for a good price??
camelNS
Re: Cheap Bag Targets...? Get a large feed bag.Fill it with either lots of plastic bags, old rags/clothes.Build a stand for the bag and tie the corners of the bag to the stand. When the bags gets worn, get another one and add some more plastisc bags to it.Also a cardboard box filled with styrofoam works great. MCH
Re: Cheap Bag Targets...? Thanks guys. We have tons of old feed bags. I make a trip to the dump with em every week. I think I'll try both the feed bag and Leo's link to the Redhead target. Thanks, again.
LifeNRA
Re: Cheap Bag Targets...? $25 per one thousand shots. Take that $25 times it by four, thats $100 and four thousands shots. If you would buy the Block Target one for $100, you could get 12,000 field tip shots! I have a Block target, its awesome. If I ever wear it out I will buy another! camelNS
Re: Cheap Bag Targets...? If you have a ton of feed bags just fill one up with other feed bags and shoot at it.They will stop an arrow if you pack them in there.Nothing like a free target. hunter_mike
Re: Cheap Bag Targets...? I use a big round hay bale. If you have room for it. It is the easiest arrow removal there is and its hard to miss.

And yes I am shooting the right side....LOL

AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Cheap Bag Targets...? I got a Delta 4000 bag target at Dunhams for $14.99 and built a holder for it out of pvc piple for about $2.00 and it works well shooting and stops my arrows really good. too_pointer
Re: Cheap Bag Targets...? I use the " block " also, have for years. The arrows do not come out as easily as the bags, but it will last you much longer. too_pointer
