I don't have a flip, but have a Kodak Playsport, which is very similar. I love it! I've heard nothing but good reviews on the flip cameras, but I decided on the Kodak because it's rugged, waterproof and can video underwater up to 10 feet. They retail for around $149.99 but I found one on Amazon that included the bundle (small tripod, memory card and remote) for $115

I've got one and love it. You can do snapshots too on the computer later. I dropped it 10 feet on some rocks and it's still fine. I'm challenged too and have no trouble with it. The youtube videos and pics I put on here are from my Flip HD. Check carefully for prices we just got 2 for $110.00 on sale. It's over now unfortunately. Ebay usually has some.

Thanks everyone! Will check them out some more. Just looking for something that leans a lot more toward the "easy" end of the spectrum than the "great quality" end, but don't want something thats so crappy they won't use it.

I'm not sure about the flips, but my playsport takes full 1080p HD video, and has 4 buttons. Even a dummy can use them. :D My Dad, who can't work a TV remote, can operate my camera, haha!
