I bow hunted all year and never got a encounter with any of my hitlist bucks. Its was th extra weekend hunt here in Ohio and i had my Muzzleloader in hand. He came in chasing a few doe and gave me a 40 yrd broadside shot and i smoked him. Only ran 50yrds and crashed. I wish I could have got him with the Hoyt but I can't complain. Don't really know what caused it, but generally speaking, bowseason so far, for me at least, is one of the worst I can ever remember.
