danthehuntinman
I was wondering what everyone else thought this deers age is. I let him go a few different times this year. It was the first year of hunting this farm so I wasn't sure on the age or anything of the deer there. They seem to have bigger bodies there then they do at my farm. smo
I'd say 3.5.

magnatecsteve
Most likely a 2 1/2 yr old
wtnhunt
Either 3.5 or 2.5. I would guess more likely a 3.5 year old. Body looks more square than you normally see in a 2.5 year old. Lot of bucks will get a little run down by this time of the year after the rut and might not put that weight back on depending on available food sources. Late season buck I killed last year probably lost 30-35 lbs from October to December.
fly
Those antlers make it look younger. I'm thinking 3.5 from the body.

Try not to look at the antlers when aging.
