snapper
Haven't decided if I will keep it or not yet....but I got a Browning X-bolt in a .308. Like brand new...less than a box of shells through it. If I keep it, I gotta get rings and bases and a scope. Just haven't decided yet...pretty gun...just no real use for a .308 I'll try to get a few pics. on here.
PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
Hey maybe you can hit the 600 yd gong with it.
stcif
I'm jealous. I really wanted that same gun and caliber. I "settled" for a TC Venture in .308. I do not think I will be sorry though.

Shaun_300
The X-bolt is a nice gun! .308 is a good caliber too. None of the kids need a rifle?
Strut10
Wish I had room for another rifle. No reason not to have a 4th .308 in the stable. :cowboy:
LETMGROW
My daughter bought an X-Bolt .308 early this fall. This is one sweet handling rifle. I put her scope on it at Thanksgiving time but we didn't have time to shoot it. I'm looking forward to sighting this one in. I think it will be a good shooter. She is living out of state right now but is due home in the near future. I have an A-Bolt in 7-MM WSM which shoots quite well.
PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
Hangunnr I have seen him shoot too. He rang the gong at 600 yds with a 270 last spring. First nonmag to do that.
hangunnr
Wow, the first time it was ever hit with a non mag? hangunnr

Sorry, Paul. Not the first non-mag to do it. Lil Strut did it several times with somebody's .308, I forget whose, a couple years ago. We let him shoot "Wittle Wee Gun" class because he was only 10 years old. Probably won't catch him doing that again now that he's 13. PA_RIDGE_RUNNER
Strut the way he snuggled up to that 50 BMG you are right.
Strut10
Strut the way he snuggled up to that 50 BMG you are right. I may be wrong. Santa brought him some new Burris glass for his .308. I'm guessing he'll have to try that out at least once or twice next shoot.
