Crew999
I started dating my wife 7 years ago and she quickly realized if she wanted to see me in the fall, she would have to come out hunting with me..lol. After a couple years of watching she decided to take up hunting and has proven to be a great hunter and has taught me a lot. She has managed to take a big, mature buck every year. I thought I would share pics of her first 4 bucks which she has taken in her first 4 seasons of hunting (We are only allowed 1 buck a year up here). All taken on public land (2007,2008, 2009 and 2010 below).

HuntingPA
AWESOME!!! Congrats to your wife, those are monsterous deer. Hunting together is the real trophy i see however. My wife started hunting after our second year of marriage (married 19 years now), she has gotten 10 does and one young 5 point buck here in PA over those years, and now that our kids are getting out there some too....Life just gets no better for a hunting Dad/Husband, seeing your whole family in orange and camo and celebrating around someone's downed deer , makes even the toughest guy choke up a little on how much he is blessed. Out of all the hunting buddies I have, hearing my wife's rifle crack in the distance makes me smile the most. She is a heck of a shot and tracking has never been needed, but being diabetic since she was 14 , cold is a real enemy for her as her hands and feet get numbling cold just sitting and unfortunately her eyes are not what they use to be either and it is starting to show on the range a little. Been doing more early season hunting now when the weather is nicer, but most of that is doe only here. Anyway...my hope is that buck of lifetime comes along for her sooner than later. It is really the one reason I work so hard to improve our little peice of property. The hug I get from her when she gets a deer is always my favorite... I am real happy for you guys and I wish you the very best on your life together as hunting husband and wife...God Bless and good hunting.. mrswtnhunt
Congrats to her. Those are some bruisers. My husband got me into hunting a few years after we got married. There is just something about being able to share the love of hunting with the love of your life.
