Wondering who's planning on or thinking about a new bow for 2011?

I'veh ad my Hoyt for 5 years...thinking it's time to upgrade, weight is maxed out, bow actually feels small to me now, lol.

Anyone got your eyes on anything specific?

I'll be looking at Hoyt and Mathews/Mission most likely but there's a Bowtech dealer nearby as well.

well Ruth I got a new 2010 Bowtech Admiral the end of Oct so I won't be upgrading in 2011. If you are looking for a new bow I would look at the new Bowtech Assassin or Heartbreaker. They both come fully set up and shoot great and are under $650. I am just loyal to Bowtech/Diamond because of all the support that they give the military with discounts and donations to T.A.P.S. ( Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors)

Same Here!!

I'm looking at replacing the 7 year old Hoyt MagnaTec that I have with a new Hoyt Rampage XT. Got a chance to look at them and shoot a few arrows and they are one sweet bow for the price.

I also had a chance to shoot a few arrows through the Rampage XT and I absolutely loved it!! I'll be slinging my arrows with that next year as well!!!

For the first time since my first yearI started bowhunting (13 years ago) I'm sticking with the bow I have right now. I've owned a ton of bows over the past years, I'd say on average 5 new bows every year. I've finally found a bow that I shoot extremely well and fits me perfectly. I got this bow back in about September, and it has finally occurred to me after all these years that if it aint broke...don't mess with it.

Well there certainly isn't anything wrong with my 2003 Bowtech Extreme Solo. It has flat gotten the job done for me everywhere I've used it.

But this Christmas I got a used Pearson Z-34 with the R2B2 Cams. It's a 70-80lb bow. Still have to finish outfitting it and tuning it. That will have to wait until I can afford it. I have shot it quite a bit set at 77lbs and it's very nice to shoot.

Wow!! Somebody was shooting a bow older than mine!! Not anymore, though, I guess.

My trusty 2004 Browning Eclipse SLX keeps killing things when I shoot at them. I was thinking of replacing it for '11. Was looking at the PSE Omen. I just can't see spending $900 to fix something that ain't broken. I've kinda come to the conclusion that as long as the Browning doesn't break, it's my tool. I like it. It likes me. Life is still good.

I've been looking. I'm shooting more and more. My '07 TechHunter Elite is showing wear. I'll be looking at and shooting a lot; PSE Dream Season EVO, Mathews Z7 Magnum, Bowtech "Invasion", Bowtech Assasin, Bowtech Destroyer 350, maybe a Hoyt CRX 32, and Bear Carnage. Possibly test out some new G5 and Strothers bows too, because there's a dealer here for them. Shot the PSE Omen and Mathews Monster XLR8 and realized they're a bit agressive for me. I don't think I'd be able to draw one in a treestand, at 70 lbs, and without being seen. Maybe good 3D bows and that's it.

If the Bowtech Heart Breaker has draw posts at both ends Jess might be getting that.
