redkneck
Fry up some deer sausage, stir in some chopped bell pepper and green onion, or whatever you choose. After browning the mixture set aside to drain. After draining pour contents into a bowl and stir in a generous amount of cream cheese to make a nice thick mixture. Next take tenderized steaks about 3"x4" or so and lay out. Spread the sausage/cream cheese mix onto it, and roll it up. Wrap in bacon and stick with toothpicks to hold it. Grill till the bacon is nice and done~enjoy!
Dawg
And yet another wrapped in bacon recipe, lol. Sounds really good John. I just so happen to have some venny steaks left and will give this one a go!
Texan_Til_I_Die
Hey, there's no such thing as too much bacon! Sounds like a great recipe, and very easy. If I can get someone to kill a deer this weekend at camp, I'll give it a try.
doubleA
Sounds like a tasty recipe for sure. ...... on a side note, my wife and daughter use bacon in alot of recipes. One of my favorites is bacon chocolate chip cookies. Just last week, daughter made chicken fried peppered bacon as an appetizer, oh it's gooooood.
