If you think this is out of line, PM me please, and tell me so.

If you agree, there is no need to comment, but I only ask that you bump the post back to the top so all can read and think about the message.

There are more and more children using the internet these days, and they need safe places to go.

I would like to share some pics as well...

My Nephew Joshua on his first hunt ever. He is the first one younger than me in the Family to take up the sport. He asked alot of questions and even though he's a grown man, husband, and father of 2 he was reading in here and other hunting forums to learn as much as he could:

He still has to learn what happens when your not paying attention...lol

He has good reason to have a place where he can feel comfortable in bringing his children...at least one of them is already addicted to the sport:

...and the little one only asked his Dad for one thing before he left to go hunting..."Bring me home some Horns"! Well even though my Nephew was not successful in his first hunt the legacy came through...My Dad scored opening day and gave him some:

...and He has a little sister that follows him around everywhere...will they have a place here their parents can feel confident about?

I completely disagree. This is a hunting forum not a place for teenagers or younger to explore the internet! Yeah kids need to be involved in hunting but if you want them on this site I think they should be restricted to a family room or youth room. This isn't chuckie cheese where kids should just roam free.

In fact a youth movement has a great deal to do with why so many older members have left.

Steve, I've never had a problem with you, and I still don't, but I think everyone knows how you feel and you need to let the horse rest in peace. Maybe I'm reading into your post too much, but it seems like you want to continue to pick a fight. Everyone needs to email Scott as he requested, and let's move on with what the result is. Let's start with setting an example in the home for our children, so that they may be able to determine what's right and wrong. "I am only trying to call attention to a fact; the fact that this year, or this month, or, more likely this very day, we have failed to practice ourselves the kind of behavior we expect from other people". -C.S. There are also some zero tolerance rules that have been pinned at the top of a few different rooms in the forums as a reminder to all who visit.

Steve, I think you might want to re-read those rules also. Especially the parts I have highlighted above.

I rarely butt heads with anyone on this forum, but you seem to have alterior motives lately Sherm.

As far as getting this forum back on track, I think that's Scott's job and I'm hoping his suggestions thread will provide some insight.

I'm hoping so too Chris. I posted this thread before Scott posted his. I have no ulterior motive other than what you have read above..I thought it was pretty clear.

PM me if you'd like to discuss this, because I refuse to butt heads with anyone in this thread, other than the little butt I just gave by posting the forum rules.(if you can even call that a butt..LOL).
