Strut10
.............that you go towing a boat around this end of Pennsylvania. :cool2: I had my boat out for the last time on Labor Day weekend. Was hoping to get back on the water fo some fall walleyes. But it never happened. So about a month ago I towed it over to my brother's garage to store. But it had been too cold to hook it up to the hose to run a batch of Stabil through it. Today was the day. Warm enough for the hose, for sure. I was pleasantly surprised. She fired right up and once warm enough to pull it down off high idle, it sat and idled like a kitten. I ran it a good while longer than I probably needed to..........just to listen to it run. A V4 2-stroke out of water makes a really neat sound.
Shaun_300
Awesome! Warm up here too, rainy though, supposed to freeze up overnight and that'll be the end of the warm weather. Gotta love the sound and smell of 2 stroke engines, especially the bigger V4 and V6 2 strokes. My buddy's grandpa's boat has an ole 125hp V4 on it, love firing it up for the first time in the spring out of the water. Get to do the same with the owner of the dealerships big triple pontoon boat with a V6 150hp 2 stroke, man the sound of that thing on the hose raises the hair on your arms.
