Man...I came close to buying an LCP. I had the advantage of putting a couple boxes of rounds through my friends prior to making a purchase. In the end I thought the recoil was just to much for my meat paws...I coundn't get an accurate second shot of quickly enough for my liking. I still think it's a great "little" heater, and am still tempted for the warmer months as you mentioned. Haven't shot an LCR yet however, which is now available in .357 mag. PotashRLS
Wisconsin doesn't allow cc thanks to our oober liberal politicians. Things will change though with our newly elected conservative house, senate and governor. I intend to purchase a ccw and rig after the dust settles. I actually look forward to the required class and training too as I am an avid handgun shooter and hunter safety instructor. What advice do you guys have that already carry a ccw? Pros/Cons, dos and don'ts? I don't mean to hyjack this thread but it is the perfect spot for this question. What better way to learn something than by asking those that already know. Thanks. Always carry it. Never show it off. If it has to come out use it immediately.
johnf
Try not to look too guilty when you walk into Walmart that first time. I always ask my wife to check to see if I'm printing. You can get a decent holster for $25 and a real crappy one for $20. Spend the extra bucks and get a good one. Buy some bigger pants if you are going to carry IWB. My buddy and I didn't have to do this with the cross bread holster I posted about and it is a IWB type holster.....

With the cross breed holster, did you get the horse leather to aid with a moisture/sweat problem? How does the leather take moisture in general? swohiodave
Glock 26 or a 32. 357 sig is fast but the 9mm is easier to control and hide.

How does the leather take moisture in general? I did not get the horse leather. My buddy did. I 99.9% of the time wear an undershirt (I always have) so the leather is not touching my skin. But I don't sweat alot either.....even in the dead of summer. So I don't have much problems with it. I do occasionally condition the leather. My buddy that has the horse leather is a bigger guy and never seems to say anything about having any problems. Even in the dead of summer.
