bigredk8
if bucks still have antlers is it bad to chase em?
Crew999
About half have shed here so far, picked up 3 singles in the fields. I refuse to go into the bush until spring though, as I hate to stress the deer this time of year. They have a tough enough time trying to get through the winter. toddyboman
if bucks still have antlers is it bad to chase em? I wouldn't chase them.....Deer are under a lot of stress this time of year. Plus you might chase him off you land for good.....
TeamBuckxlimp
yea but if you jump them now it won't effect what bucks will be around next fall. Two weeks ago I was coyote hunting and jumped about 10 deer. Well I got up in a stand and watched the ones that were spooked circle back around and went right back into the thicket they came from. toddyboman
I meant hike in the area not rly chase I don't like to look in the thick stuff aka bedding areas until I know most of the deer have shed. Early I look along food plots, crop fields, fence crossings, fields they cross but not much in the woods.
bigredk8
do all fresh sheds have blood on the base? If so how long does it stay visible?
