sounds to me like you have good food sources there now. nothing you do will keep and hold deer there.IMO if it was me i would concentrate my efforts on some late season scouting. id have my sets up early (June-July). during season i would keep the pressure low. dont scout around the 20 acres during season. the lack of pressure on your 20 combined with the added pressure of multiple people hunting the 100 acres around you should be very appealing to the deer. just my opinion if anyone disagrees with me feel free to speak up.

where are you located in the country, and what type of crops are being planted now? Plant something different than what is there, along an inside edge of a field corner, or in a clearing back in the woods where the deer pass by before coming out to feed. You need to be between the bedding area and where they want to feed for the evening. A small plot will stop them for a short time and give you a chance for a shot if you play the wind right

Hard to beat some mature oak trees. Small little hunting plots might not hold the deer on that property but sure can make a great little hunting spot. Especially if you can put in a travel route that leads to a larger feeding area. Once we know where you are located we can give you some ideas. I use rye grain and some annual clovers for my small little "killing" plots.
