fly
Really glad I have kept my son in the scouts. At times it's a pain selling popcorn and making all the meetings, but it really is an organization that builds character. Today we honored a fallen soldier from our home town (Kenny Corzine). fly
A disturbing matter regarding today's funeral was published in today's paper. A group of extremists plan to protest during the funeral today. I hope the authorities keep these protesters miles away! There is a time and place for voicing opinions, military funerals are not a place for making a statement or gaining publicity. http://www.thetelegraph.com/news/bethalto-48986-extremist-funeral.html

wtnhunt
Wtg keeping him in the scouts Frank. popcorn sales huh, hmmm. Lots of fundraisers with the kids here but don't think we hhave done popcorn. Far as the group calling themselves Christians and protesting, God will sort those folks out. They protested a soldiers funeral not far from here back before Christmas, we found out about a week after it happened, they seem to have plenty of funds for traveling.
