stevebeilgard
None of this Global warming stuff what do you mean, none of this global warming stuff. sure it's global warming. haven't you noticed that if the temperatures go up, it's because of global warming. we're now having one of the coldest and worst winters in history, and it's becuase of global warming. whatever happens with the weather next year or 10 years from now, it's because of global warming. simple as that. sure it's because of global warming!:chair::chair: global warming is a crock! The Bug House
It is , the fact that the term "global warming" is used so frequently while the correct term, "climate change" isn't. Like posted in the previous thread, all to often weather is confused with climate. Just because we're in a warming trend at this point in climatological history, doesn't mean we won't have record cold. All evidence suggests that warming and cooling cycles would occur with or without human presence on this planet. It appears that our activity on Earth may be contributing to said climate change, but the jury is still out. It's important to quantify our impact on the planet. wtnhunt
Cyclic changes have been occuring as long as the earth has been in existence. Has been up and down here this year, but we have had some record lows this year after above average snowfalls last year.

We have the unfortunate burden of having only about 150 years of data.

Speculations/theories by some scientists. Seems there is some evidence to support some dramatic cycles that occured, of course that based on scientific studies.
