wtnhunt
the new house, kinda. lol. Was going to get some better pics, but guess these will do. May try to get some better pics later on, brought the deer back in the old house when I started sanding the floors. Last years late season buck http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=94834. Only took a year. Got him back the week of Christmas, early Christmas present to me. Pretty happy with the mount overall, eye detail is a little darker than I like but overall pretty happy with it. Got to kinda compare this years deer to last years when dropping it off and this years is about 3/4 of an inch shy inside, but taller and has better mass and longer beams. Maybe this years will not take a year.

92xj
I think you could have gone a little higher with him.
MCH
You've got a sweet house William. I'm assuming since you didn't center him that you've got more to put up?
Texan_Til_I_Die
He looks right at home to me. That's going to be a beautiful place William when you and the family get all settled in. Definitely something to be proud of.
wtnhunt
Thanks guys. he looks good. But he also look lonely guess that will change in about a year Will change real soon. Will move them all in soon get pics. You've got a sweet house William. I'm assuming since you didn't center him that you've got more to put up? Yep Kevin, this years buck is a right turn and will probably also go in the front. Undecided where some of these others will go, most of the mounts I have are left turn's. Will probably put most of those on the interior walls gonna depend on what the wife thinks. I think you could have gone a little higher with him. Think so? Dunno could move him up, plenty of room. Seems the higher, the more it made him look smaller. Hard to really tell from those pics, but that buck has a 19 inch inside spread, pics are a bit deceiving. Eventually will have rock up that wall after I build a fireplace. Look from underneath. Still got some wood to go up in the front. Contractor was supposed to do something around those triangle windows so I could attach my panels, suppose I will end up just doing that myself too. ruttinbuc
Looks good William! A year is the turn around time for a mount here. Wow that reminds me i have my 2006 fox at the taxi yet. Last time I called he wasn't started on it. Guess I should call and see how far he got with it and if he remembered he has my speed goat to do. Anyway, I would place the heads looking in the direction of the doors coming into the room if possible. Sort of like a greeting thing. I have a 32 inch 20# Atlantic Salmon to find a home for. Maybe I can stand him up.....:paint:

Newarcher
Very nice!...deer and home. All that wood seems like a good idea until a kid dumps an entire bag of legos....then it will be like you had a cluster bomb dropped in the house! I like it! wtnhunt
Man, I wish I had a wall like that. There is room for all kinds of things up there, and if my wife were to hear me say that, she would say "OH NOOoooooo" ..LOL Beautiful William. I can see an Antelope, a Moose, an Elk, Birds....all kinds of things up there. ;) Guess I am lucky my wife wants mounts on the walls eh Steve. Should have our antelope from Wyoming back late spring early summer. That taxidermist also has Christina's mule deer. We did bring some elk sheds back from Wyoming we will try to find a place for. Same taxidermist that did the deer on that wall has my cat from last winter and this years ml'er buck. Guessing my ml'er buck from this year will be a good while.
