Matt, the camera is a Canon XS30IS. It is a14 MP camera with a 35X optical zoom which is equivalent to 840 mm. All the shots so far are hand held. The hard part is panning too fast and holding it tight to the body. Here area couple pics with the same woodpecker in the video. I also put up two shots of a communications tower. One wide 24mm and the zoomed closeup at 35X. The Cardinal is out there a ways.

I have been taking my time getting to know it. A lot different in handling than my Canon S3IS from 4 years ago, buttons and controls in different places. I need to put it through its paces.

Thanks Todd, The link is in the first post. With color of it I can see where it is easily missed, I guess. Maybe I'll send off some feedback for a color change for the links. Or this:

My question was if you don't post a thread here on the forum that you posted a video on youtube how would we know you posted a video on youtube to watch.

You pretty much nailed it, Todd. The hits here are 5 times the hits there so why am I wasting my time?
