swampwright
Has anyone seen that browning has introduced the a-bolt in there line up for 2011. Im really temped to buy one, since i'm in a slug only state. I currently have the ultra slug hunter, but man the brownings are good looking. Im also wondering what is the difference between the 94-98 a-bolt and the new a-bolt?
huntnfish
Sounds pretty cool I'll have to look into that myself.
LETMGROW
That is a fine looking shotgun. No reference on the website about changes in the A-Bolt design. www.browning.com Lynn
HUNTINGMAN
Good looking gun but they only have a two round magazine. I would rather save a bunch of money and shoot a new england single shot.

smallmunster
I've heard good things in the past about the browning, but have never seen one. I have a savage 12 ga bolt gun and it shoots lights out. The non detachable mag is the only real drawback. The new savage 20 ga bolt gun is supposed to be even better, but I have not gotten my hands on one yet. For half the money I would probably go with one of the savages. swampwright
Yea the savage 220f would be nice plus like you said it's half the price. It also comes in a 20g, but doesnt have the option of a wood stock. Put a mcmillian on it but thats a whole new ball game of prices.
Grady269
What would be really impressive is if they would come back out with the Auto-
swampwright
That would be nice! See a retro thing come back just like the cars they have done those have been successful.
fly
Oh yea, too bad I don't have 1200.00 because that's one sweet looking gun. Too bad it doesn't come in RT.
terry264
I think Cricket is making one now too, made in USA and no plastic parts. Will try to attach their url on here if I figure out how. It may be under keystone sporting arms, think they are the same place. http://www.crickett.com/crickett_model10shotgun.php says they are available in smoothbore or rifled barrels
