Ravin R10 man
Wally world had wildgame cams 1.3 for 35 bucks on clearance..anybody running one, have any feedback on these??
pointing_dogs_rule
Wildgame innovation cameras... I bought two because they were cheap. You get what you pay for. One did not work out of the box. Sent it back for a replacement and it took 35 days for them to put a new camera in a box a ship it to me. (after 3 phone calls). VERY POOR customer service. The second camera eats up batteries very fast. Daytime photos are good, however, night photos are limited to a few feet (not the distance advertised). Trigger speed is slow. Lots of head-on shots. Lots of butts as deer walked by due to slow trigger speed. Next time I'll go back to Cuddeback. Better customer service and faster trigger speed and better night shots. Just my thoughts. good luck to all the dog
wtnhunt
Gonna get what you pay for regardless of where you get it. Don't honestly know what cams wal mart is carrying, but generally speaking their customer service is pretty decent if you happen to get a dud and want to try your luck again. Seems a lot of hit and miss with some of these brands out there, you might get one that works and you might not. Moultrie supposedly had most of their issues fixed, might check the most recent chasingame reviews to see what the latest is there. In the price range you mention probably gonna limit you to moultrie, stealth, or wildgame innovation cameras. Sure there are probably tasco/bushnells in that price range too, but seems there have been a good deal horror stories on those cams. With going with a $100 or lesser camera would stick with a store that has a solid return policy just in case.

ruttinbuc
Good and cheap hardly work together. There are a lot of cameras out there that will do the job. The cheap ones are cheap for a reason. You can't expect Cadillac results when buying a Hyundai. I had a couple of Stealth Cams when they first came out. I bought them on clearance at Walmart. for 75% off. I should have left them on the shelf for the aggravation of trying to get one good image on a piece of film. The cost was starting to catch up to the price paid. To this day I have a memory of those Stealth Cams and stay away from them because of it. Jim Shockey says they are great! Then again he gets paid to say that.
buckee
Jim Shockey says they are great! Then again he gets paid to say that. You couldn't pay me enough to lie about a product. Sometimes you can find awesome deals on good cameras just after Christmas, but I think it's getting too late for that. Just keep doing your homework and maybe you'll get lucky on Ebay or in the classifieds here.
Ethan Givan
Check out Moultrie cameras. They are cheaper than most and still take very good pics. Ive got one that lasted for about 4 years now, and it still works fine.
gzilla45
I've got two Wildview cameras and have nothing but good results from them. One is an older model and I believe is the 1.3 mp and I just got the new IR model from them also. They are both currently in the woods taking pictures for me. Heck my old one got smashed by a bear and it still works fine. I paid $40 for the old one and $60 for the new one.

I paid $40 for the old one and $60 for the new one. i got a 2 megapixel flash Wildview and it's exposure is messed up. picture quality wasn't good and most of the time the pictures were way too bright to make stuff out. It wasn't even in a bright area or had the sun right on it. Good to see you've got them to work, they're a great deal then being so inexpensive. Right now I'm using Wildgame IR4 and S2. The S2 does this weird thing of being much darker on the bottom half of the picture. I took it in and it seemed to dry out and be fine. Slower trigger speeds on both though. I set them up quartering into the trails and they work fine.
VermontHunter
My buddy has 2 Primos 35's and they seem to do a very good job from what I've seen from the pictures he's shown me ..
JMAN
There is no such animal as a good & cheap game camera. Cheap just means that you are going to have a ton of headaches and probably wish you had never bought one. That being said, here are my choices in different price ranges: Below $120 WGI x6c - Excellent picture quality, videos as good as any price range cam, very good battery life, great detection range. The trigger speed is a little slow but the HPWA fresnel helps to alleviate this problem. I love mine and have had no problems out of it. Great when used over a feeder or mineral lick. Below $250 Several choices - Ltl Acorn 5210/5210A, Scoutguard 550/560/570, Bushnell Trophy Cams, DLC Covert. These cams are good for trail or feeder. Subject to certain QC issues but for the most part reliable cams. You will definately get what you pay for and if you buy a Reconyx, you will never complain at all.
