The secure mode has been disabled. We had to turn it on during a security scan yesterday, and the scan took longer than expected. There was no security breach.

I can't believe how many blatant lies are circulating about Obama, and I can't believe how many Americans are so uninformed and naive that they believe them. This whole thread is ridiculous, and I'm considering closing it.

When I turn off the forums, everyone will see the message. As indicated, a small upgrade was in progress.

Over the years, Realtree.com has continued to grow, and we're trying to make sure the servers grows with it. We did some thorough research and found a new host that can help us easily scale up in the future. Here's wishing the entire community increased speed over the next few weeks!

We've made some server configuration changes and disabled a couple of information things in the forums. I'm glad to hear most of you are seeing a noticeable increase in load time. Keep us up-to-date, and we'll keep trying to make it faster. Thanks for being patient while we work things out.

Absolutely incorrect. I've been discussing the slowness with Scott, and we're considering some possible solutions. I've also contacted the developers at vBulletin to see what can be done. If we could push a button and make things faster, we would have done that a long time ago. Unfortunately, it's not that simple - we'll probably need to throw some faster hardware at the problem.

Don't take offense, but our members are part of the problem. With all the large icons and signature images each member is using, the forums are obviously going to take longer to load. I've also mentioned before that we constantly have multiple threads on the same topic here. That too slows down the forums. We removed the "Nocked n Loaded" banner on the right side because it was pretty large. That should speed things up a bit, but I won't take all the credit for slowing the forums.

Should be a bit faster now. There was a task on the server that was slowing it down.
