I used them for the first time this season. I shot a buck with one and it was AWESOME! I will forever have a couple with me while hunting. They are everything they are cracked up to be.

Howa makes a very decent rifle for the money. My next big purchase will be the Axium. Shell wise, use a 100grn btsp (or over the counter Corelokt) and youre deadly on deer. Varmint id use the same thing unless youre wanting to save a pelt, then switch to a V-Max. If you reload then you can really get the best out of that rifle.

I dont drink that instant stuff either..... but once you get it brewed bring it strong, black, and in a big cup.

We watched it too. We typically will watch the first couple to laugh at some of the people. Shortly there after we skip out for a few shows and then pickup back at the end. Cheating... Maybe, but its far more enertaining that way.

Im shooting handloaded V-Max in my Ruger M77, .243. It will stack them. However, it shoots high and right of the Hornady 100grn BTSP's I load. Still, they group great and will get the job done at ranges well over 200yds. I wouldnt hesitate to shoot mine over 300 yards on a yote. It actually depends on the rifle. Two of the same model and cal wont necessarly shoot the same type of bullet the same. I had a Remington 700 in ADL that wouldnt shoot 150grn corelokt at all. However, bump that to 180grn and they would stack on top of each other.

No, you dont. However my friend there was using that exact setup. He could reach out farther than me but when they flew in they were in trouble.
