wtnhunt: i for one think turkey hunting is a real challenge most of the time, in mich. you have to apply for a permit, and if your lucky to get one the season is only about a week long.competition is tough and turkeys aren't everywhere as much as deer are. i think i enjoy deer hunting more because of longer season and larger area to find them. i you can hunt both of them, you are a lucky man. it takes much practice to master turkey calls, so it is fun getting prepared for season. good luck on both! too_pointer
