i seen this on another site i dont want this to be a p---ing contest just a question ive been told illinois has a perposel in the house to allow crossbows in bow season for everyone i dont have a problem with this it will bring alot of hunters int the game the young ,older, disable,and inexperienced i know its a big insue in other states also i feel xbows are archery gear no mater if they are pre c--ed im not going to argue with anyone on this i feel if its made leagle by the state then use whatever weapon you wish just my 2 cents just asking for your thoughts if this gets out of hand i hope the mods. will delete this post befor name calling and personal attacks start just hope everyone thats replys acts like adults thanks fot your oppions

Re: Reflex bows bought an excursion last june i love it quite fairly fast accurate ive taken 2 deer and my son used it this yr and took 2 deer with it my specs are 28 inch draw 67 lb draw wt 386 gr arrow i get 252 ft/sec not a real speed deamon but plenty fast for deer i got the bow new and set up for $407.00 out the door good luck but shoot it if you can befor you buy it you might not like it

my step dad gave me a stoeger condor 1 he won at a DU diner good shooting gun but i still love my 870 maybe i can learn to shoot anothet gun the other is a rexio 45 he gave me also he bought it a few yrs ago and didnt like it we had a match set now i have a match set boy i love my stepdad

my step dad gave me these two guns one is a stoeger condor 1 12 ga the other is a rexio 45 colt/410 i already had one rexio so now i hahv one for each hand ha ha this is a 22 mag made by FIE mod e15 my wifes uncle left me when he pasted away not worth much $ but its the sentamental value thats worth more then $

Re: Reflex Excursion i bought an excurison last june they are made by hoyt the excoursion is a good bow ive taken 2deer with it my son has taken one at 28in draw 67lb pull and 390gr arrow it shoots 252fps not bad but not the fastest bow out there eighter its quit smooth draw solid backwall i love mine but there a lot of good bows in that price range check them all out and shoot them if you can

Re: Shot a Button Buck congrats stinger i have shoot buttons it is legal in Ill. im in it for the meat not the rack i prefer big does but i take what comes along till i get the first deer of the yr or it gets late in the season i hate eating tags (JMO)

i have an rxcursion i bought it last june i love it i have a 28 in. draw and set at 67lb and 386gr. arrow i get 252fps not bad but not a speed deamon but fast enough quit little bow solid back wall ive taken 2 deer and my boy shot his first deer with it this yr its a good bow but shoot a few to see what fits you best

i have shot right handed guns left handed sence i was a kid the shell will eject right past his eye i have never been hit except for an m-16 when i was in the army the pump guns seem to be better for left handed shooters then autos it would be better to get a left handed gun but you can shoot a right handed gun safely if it was me i would try a pump or a single shot jmo

i think you made the right choice you got a 2nd gun for the price of the barrel for the 835 i have one 835 and 2 500 both are good guns good deal

Re: I figured out why some complain about... slugshooter you may be suprised of the amount of recoil that nova will have with a rifeled sluc barrel my stepdad has one i sited in last yr for hem the nova is so lite weight the recoil isunbeliveable compared to my 870 with a 21in. smootrh barrel

this is my 15 yr old and his first deer with a bow and a buck to boot just a young spike but its the meat were after good job tony
