I was working my p/t job the other day and a woman came in to look at a bow. I asked her all the normal q's.... Was it for hunting? 3-D shooting? shooting in the back yard? I measured her draw length, asked her what kind of draw weight she thought she could handle....fit her for a bow and took her on the shooting lane... After it was all said and done she said.... " I really want to thank you for working with me...." I said it's no problem that's why were here." She said "NO! I mean it....the last few stores I had been in didn't even come over to help me....and one guy asked me "Are you buying this bow for your husband"? She said "You did everything right.....I'm a woman but I like to hunt too!!!" MAN! what a feeling I had!!! I wish my boss was there!!! lol.... could of scored a raise!! I have used them as well; and you know they are true workhorses! [/ QUOTE ] When the shooter closes one eye; it makes NO difference. The brain will automatically change dominance to the eye that is open. BUT; the shooter should shoot using his dominant eye. Eye dominance is an issue when shotgun shooting on moving game. Because the shooter must use both eyes to shoot; (one being used for sighting the opther being used for depth perception) the shooter that is right handed and left eye dominant or vice versa has issues with hitting the moving target. Simply for the reason that the dominant eye wants to take over. This causes the shooter to miss behind the target. I have seen this issue also in novice rifle shooters. One student in particular; tried to shoot his right handed rifle with his dominant left eye. Try it once and see what happens. It quickly caused a very nice nose bleed. Re: Comfort Zone 15\' Ladder Stand It is the basic ladder stand.... No seat cushion..... No arm rails.....the absolute no frills stand. Nothing wrong with the stand...it is stable and sound....but make sure you buy a seat cushion because after an hour or so....your butt will be numb. Re: Boot camp question Mail is the only taste of home anybody in "boot" camp can get! Mail him often and just discuss things you would as if he were at right there with you.... Yes; "boot" is a very stressful time...and writing back will be hard..... But; the others did not address this: When he does write back.....expect him to sound different.... he's going through a tough time and ALOT of changes. He's being molded to a "Marine". Or as some of like to call "leatherneck jarhead ....." (just kidding...lol) Anyway; he's getting a big dose of "life as we know it" in the Military. Appreciate any and all branches of the Military! Are your broadheads the same weight as your practice tips? If not they are going to fly differently.... It may also just be where your broadheads are going to hit based on your set-up.... Alot of variables could affect POI Be good "Bo" ....

Re: ATV\'s I have also heard good things of the Bruin's.... My son bought his wife the 250 cc model last year.... it's a small machine but very adequate for her! It steers easily and has decent speed. If I was going to buy the 350cc I would recommend going ahead with the 4x4!!! Be Good! "Bo" ....

Re: EARS vs ESP I wear Remington R2000 eletronic earmuffs..... I have been for years...I lost alot of my high pitch hearing due to a shooting accident (ie: being stupid)years ago. Folks look at me kind of wierd sometimes sitting in a treestand wearing muffs.....they start off by "yelling" at me....when they realize I can hear them perfectly with them on they have this look like "oh..." I wear them all the time no matter what the # of shots I may take. They amplify "all" sounds I haven't been able to hear for years....then muffle anything over 80 dcbl's.... a gunshot sounds like a "poof" with them on; voices are amplified so I can hear range commands. $99.00 at my local Wal-Mart.... Re: Double Feeding Piece of ...... I've never had a bit of trouble with mine...... You say you stripped it down to the last nut & bolt..... Don't take this personally ....but are you qualified to work on guns or just good enough to get by? Did you take the extractor from the bolt when you stripped it? If so; did you make sure you put the spring back in? I know it sounds stupid..... But I've been Remington; S&W and Ruger certified for years......I've had LOTS of friends bring their guns that "they" have worked on....I've seen it all. Can't really say what the problem might really be.... Are you using the "REALLY" cheap low brass ammo; you know; the one with the 7/8 oz shot and VERY low dram weight? Sometimes Auto's need that little extra "umph".....try a 1 oz load. I will tell you this.....MY 1400 won't shoot federal steel shot worth a CRAP!!!!!! Shoot the Remington Game Load or another type of shotshell......see if that's the problem. Let us know what you find. P/M and I'll help anyway I can. Be Good! "Bo" ...
