Here are the pics from my hog hunt @ BowSafari in Coalgate, Ok. The hunt started out pretty bad, the owner was out of town at a wedding, and the hired hand who was supposed to meet us and show us around decided he was going home early. But after a few angry hunters phone calls the owner drove back the next day, he was really good guy and made thing right(knocked some money off of the price) all that being said I will definetly be back.

I've got some pictures from my hog hunt I want to post but I cant figure out how to do it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: BROADHEAD HELP Thanks for all the input, I decided to go with the 100gr. Muzzy 3 blade points. I'm leaving this Friday, and with a little luck I'll have some pictures to post (and meat in the freezer) when i get back.

I'M GOING DOWN TO OKLAHOMA FOR A HOG HUNT IN 2 WEEKS (FIRST TIME) AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT FIXED BLADE BROADHEADS YA'LL WOULD RECOMEND. I'VE BEEN SHOOTING SPITFIRE 100gr. BUT I'M NOT SURE HOW THEY WOULD WORK ON THESE CRITTERS. MY BOW IS A HOYT MAGNATEC 29" DRAW, SET SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 60 & 65lb. ARROWS ARE BEEMAN ICS 500, 26 1/2". THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP.

Have any of ya'll used them?

Does anyone know anything about Bow Safari in Coalgate, OK. I'm going on a hog hunt down there in May and just wondering what to expect.

Re: Metalheads: Dimebag is gone. I NEVER SAW THEM LIVE, BUT HAVE BEEN A BIG FAN SINCE I FIRST HEARD "COWBOYS FROM ****" BACK IN 1991. KNAC.COM HAS BEEN PLAYING PANTERA AND DAMADEPLAN MUSIC ALL DAY AS A TRIBUTE, IT WAS PRETTY COOL TO LISTEN TO SOME GREAT MUSIC ALL DAY AT WORK.

Re: what expandable do you use??? I USE SPITFIRE 100 GR. AND HAVE NO COMPLAINTS. MY BUDDY USES WASP JACKHAMMERS 125 GR. AND LOVES THEM. ANYBODY USED THE AFTERSHOCK HEADS? IF SO, WHAT WERE THE RESULTS?

Re: opinions on expandables There are two types, the regular spitfires, then there is the pro series, pro series is probably what you saw. I think i paid about 25 - 30 dollars for the regular spitfires.

Re: Broadhead for Black Bear I use the spitfire 100 gr. for deer, but I think I would use a fixed blade for bear, but I have seen some shows on the Outdoor Channel where they took some pretty nice black bears with the spitfire heads.
