Re: Who got out today? I went out around 2 today. It was drizzling and I have always had GREAT luck in light rain/drizzle. Didn't hear anything. Still not gobbling. Season ends day after tomorrow...looks like 'ol huntin'sonovagun goes home empty handed again. The birds sure have made for tough hunting this year with no gobbling all year. Stupid birds!!!

I know you are new to turkey hunting. I found this one. The one you found was not a real turkey i don't think...doesn't sound that good. But you never know till ya hear one in the wild!!! Here ya go!!

Re: Thanks DartonMan.. That stinks d-man. I've heard KS has over the counter tags...and I think you can get 3 birds!!!! We have over the counter tags, but in several counties we can only get 1 and others can get 2, which would be a total of 3 (1+2=3???? ) You need to go to KS....

Re: Deer Pic II That's a good pic. Those deer sure look a lot healthier than they do here. ALL of our does look scrawny and crappy. Would like to see some that look like that around here. Thanks for the pic!

Re: Turkey..smart or stupid? I don't think they're what I would call "smart." Any animal can learn humans will harm them. I think they are kinda dumb. In state parks, you can get pretty close to wild deer, but it is very rare to even see a wild turkey. I guess they haven't fiqured out humans won't hurt them there.

Re: D.U. Game and Mouse Pad I got it, but the I can't move the gun and stuff around because the cursor is too slow. I speed it up and it still doesn't work. Does yours do this?

Re: Well I did it agian..... I had a teacher tell me her uncle or somebody had a heart-attack while feeding his hogs, and by the time they found him, the hogs were working him over. Heard hogs are the only domestic animals that will eat a human. Kind of nasty, but thought it was somewhat interesting.

Re: Dove hunters! Thanks for the info. This will be my first dove hunt, plus I JUST GOT A NEW 12GA. 870!!!!!! Looks like the doves will be the first thing I get to shoot at with it. Good luck!!

Re: Got spotted this morning, should I keep hunting the same spot I'm new to this here turkey hunting, but I would DEFINATLY (spelling?) wear a face mask. I also a camo cap ovet my mask. It helps keep the sun ut of my eyes and keeps you a little warmer on some of the colder days. Hope I helped.
