Ditto. Our new home is about 2.5 years old. New dishwasher has one particular part that keeps breaking due to cheap plastic. I'm not happy with the floors either. I've got one squeaky one, and pops all over the place. Not real happy with the windows either, more than a few of them are quite drafty already. Just last week I noticed a stop alarm on our whole house generator. Seems it's always something.

1/3 of my farm will be in soybeans this year, hopefully, because I keep breaking Pioneer fittings for my plow. Anyway, don't get too excited because my farm is a whopping 3 acres, lol.

My daughter got to welcome home a hero yesterday. I don't know John personally, only that I recognize him as a local kid that graduated from the school my kids go to. Anyway, the family asked if the high school band could play a couple songs as he rolled into his welcome home party and Mr. King agreed. Here's a couple pictures I snapped: John's welcome home sign. Mr. King directing, and my daughter Katie in the blue/white blouse. Yeah, I'm proud of her, lol. PFC Guthman coming down to thank the band. Have to admit, I don't know why, but I got a little choked up when I gave him a hug and thanked him for his service.

One of our yearbook students passed a sheet around asking students to vote on teacher superlatives. I got "Most likely to be called dad." :yes: Kind of flattered to be honest. I was hoping for funniest, but I guess there's worse things than being called dad. LOL.

We'll have to get you a pheasant come November so you can mount that. There's at least one hanging around out back. Saw one right near Sunbury Wednesday morning. They're out looking for love right now. Deer looks pretty darn good too!

Ummmm, you've repaired how many vehicles and passed how many tests on complicated mechanical systems, and you can't figure out how to get a screen out? As for the moon, yep, bigger and brighter. Too bright for me, shines right in my room at night, and flooded out the meteor shower too.

If that snake is in the bottom of a 5 gallon bucket, I'd have to agree with deer slayer. Looks like a pretty small snake.
