  1. Really sorry for your loss man! I lost my huntin' buddy about a month ago and I still miss him like crazy. Glad to hear you have another up and coming dog, but no dog can ever truly take the place of your good ol' dog. Just remember all the good times you had together and start making memories with your pup!
  2. Is it really? I'd say common sense education in school would go much, much farther. All OSHA does is fine you for not aligning yourself to their extremely stringent list of rules and regulations, which may or may not have any practical safety threat. From everything I've seen, if you do everything OSHA approved, you can't get a bloody thing done.
  3. Prayers sent! Hope for a speedy recovery!
  4. Marlin (Glenfield) Model 25 .22LR bolt action, 8 shot detachable mag. ran through thousands and thousands of rounds with that thing! Bought(dad purchased) it for $50 at a pawn shop in decent shape. Still have it.
  5. They're very nice phones, but the mandatory internet charges suck. I went back to my KRZR. If I did it over, I'd get another nice smartphone, and activate internet (cheaper) if I wanted it, but I really never needed the internet. Was kinda cool to check weather, directions, etc.
  6. Looks like an awesome time for sure!!! Guns, food, ATVs, and friends. It doesn't get better than that!
  7. Check your spark plug and see if it's relatively clean and tannish color, or if it's gunky and greasy. Greasy black, it's probably spitting oil past the rings or valves like the other guys said. If it's got a choke, take your air cleaner off and look through the throttle barrel and make sure it's functioning properly and which position it's in right now when you were trying to start it. If the choke was stuck closed or partly closed, it could very easily cause this condition. If it was a dirty carburetor as far as clogged jets, it shouldn't smoke much at all because it would be running way lean, and would run fast for a little bit, then starve itself out. Does it fire consistently, or does it miss and sputter at all?

  10. Congrats Kyle, Jen, and Cash!!! Welcome to the world, Young_buck0-1!
  11. Congrats on the new bow!
  12. I'm proud of ya dude. You're a hard worker and any decent company should appreciate that and take ya right back when you're ready. Jenn needs you.

    Lost & found

Interesting! The bolt has been there for quite a while! The pistol looks pretty harmless.
  15. That is simply awesome!!!
  16. Congrats dude! The lady on our country station just said something about someone else proposing in the turkey blind. But I gotta say...I am some kinda jealous of you! You got to hunt turkeys with a beautiful woman with that name, and convinced her to marry you. That's exactly what I want to do, but it's a different woman!
  17. Started out really well, got a hot gobbler pretty much right off the roost, called him in as he hammered back the whole way, and never broke strut. Unleashed the Supernova at 30 yards because I had to get to work, or I'd have had him at 10 yards at the decoys. Spittin' and drummin' like he was gonna start a band. A buddy from Missouri and another friend went with me this morning, one with a video camera, and another with a Remington 870. I went with plans to stick one with my new bow. They were acting weird...not ONE gobble on the roost, and only one mid-morning. They weren't getting out, grouping together at all, or strutting really. No response to calling whatsoever, and were acting all skittish. I think I'm gonna try to get a different spot for a bow bird and give that place a rest. Good hearin' from ya Michael! Thanks for droppin' in!
