Check out the thread in the pro staff room here in the forums just started it for my trip that begins on wednesday..................

Hey everyone this wednesday I pack up my wife and daughter and fly out Kansas always wanted to try the early season hunt always been afraid of the real warm temps but luv seeing those brusiers taken every year So I took the chance and here I go.... Hunting with good friend Adam Bennett of Hickory Creek Outfitter... www.hickorycreekoutfitter.com (also on FaceBook) He has some brusier bucks on trail cam pics on his FB page. He truly runs a awesome outfitt I followed him all summer on FB with pics he posted getting stands hung,getting cameras out etc You should check out his Facebook page as well as his website if your looking for a whitetail ,turkey or waterfowl hunt. Ill get into town in the afternoon unpack, get groceries etc . Thursday morning Ill check my mzl at the range and start hunting that afternoon . Ill have Clint Womeldorff running camera for the Rush Outdoors tv show and were looking for the 1st kill of the season. I have my trusty texters ready to post ,cell service should be good so were ready jsut about done packing tonight getting pumped to say the least. will update as I can cross your fingers for me!!!

In Kansas leaving sept 19th will update soon hoping for better results than last hunt!!!!

Guys and gals just home from trip (feels good to be home) anyway great trip with my pal Gage! the big boys were playing hard to get weather was very tough with wind and all . But we gave it are all and struck out! Thats ok cause its hunting not shooting lol But they better be ready going back oct 2oth with the mzl and its game on! thanks to everyone who replied or just looked at it appreciate it!!!! also lets give a big hand to my trusty posters ... without them we wouldnt have had this thread take care and Kansas mzl hunt starts sept 20th be ready !!!! hopefully this time will put the hammer down err I hope lol gnite time to snuggle with my girls! missed them!!

Leaving tomm look for updates in the pro staff room

On the road around 1230pm tomm driving to Hamilton Ontario then catching direct flight into Winnipeg MB then about a 2-1/2 hour drive north. Weather looks warm on 1st day of hunt (monday) will get up and get gear ready ,shoot the bow and hunt the afternoon. Will start sending texts then limited service as you might recall fom last years hunt. Getting pumped now!!!

Live hunt in Manitoba is started in Pro Staff room AND>>>>>>>> some big news check it out now!!!!

Some of you may remember I went last fall with the bow and weather was unseasonably warm mid 80's for northern Manitoba. Big deer kept moving under the cover of darkness (cooler) anyway TAG SOUP ! Came back with the muzzleloader and put the hammer down on a 7x6 brute scored 157. This deer was in the summer edition of Big Buck Magazine outa Canada just released a month or so ago. And it will be in the Oct. issue of Field and Stream magazine. Anyway , enough small talk lol Headed out this sunday afternoon to Hamilton ,Ontario to catch flight to Winnipeg ,MB. Then about a 3 hour drive north Should be in camp around 1130pm or so. Hunting with my good friend Gage Lowry of Wildwoods Outfitting (www.wildwooodsoutfitter.com) We have some great bucks showing up on trailcams but they are still moving after dark ugh! But hopefully with cooler weather coming next week theyll loosen up and show in daytime. Its awesome there and Gage has a beautiful set up there Also, Have been shooting every chance I get and should finish packing today.... Ok for a little more news! This fall I start hosting a new show that will air on Time Warner sports called Rush Outdoors (www.rushoutdoors.com) this for starters will air in NY and northern PA with it growing to alot more!!!!! soon (secret still) You can also check us out on FaceBook https://www.facebook.com/#!/rushoutdoors.uncut and give us a like!!!! We we soon be having a press release on me hosting the show but here at Realtree.com you guys are 1st to hear it.
