Well well well, I think I already told you guys that our trout season that was supposed to open April 1 is shut down till at least may 1, but I don’t think it will open then either. And guess what , we can’t even go shoot guns. All of the private indoor and even the provincial outside rifle ranges are closed down to the public. We are pretty much on a unlock down.

My next door neighbour with the big hooters was out gardening topless again today.................................. I just wish his wife would do it once in a while ???? I sure hope that everyone is doing well?

I’ve been saying for weeks, the government should shut Facebook completely down and the news , All I can say about them is holy @@@@. Between the news and fb , they are the ones causing all the problems and the insanity. A friend the other week showed me that a woman put on fb “ the liquor store is closing on Wednesday “ well guess what happened , 100s of people went there and almost cleaned them out. The liquor stores were not closing they were just cutting their hours back a bit. People have to stop believing all the BS on their it’s causing panic and fear.

The gf and I went grocery shopping on Friday for the first time in two weeks ( after 14 days of isolation ) after I left there I felt so dirty that I had to shower again when I got home lol. it was ok though , everyone has to use a cart even if only picking up one or two items, they have circles on the floor 6 feet apart in the checkouts and all the cashiers have plexiglass shields in front of them , all the stores here have them now , really not a bad idea. It’s really out of the norm but we are not living in normal times anymore. Take care everyone ?

Ya it’s a strange world. Had one big disappointment, our trout season was suppose to open yesterday ( I’ve been waiting for it ) our provincial government has closed it down till at least May 1. Makes no sense to me or many others. We can still go to a store and buy weed or booze where there will be many people but we can’t go back in the woods to a brook alone to catch a trout.

Just wondering how all my Americans friends are doing in this crazy world ? Today makes day 14 of self isolation for the gf and I after coming home from the Dominican Republic. We both feel great and have had no symptoms. We are allowed out in public tomorrow, however most things are shut down and there is nowhere to go anyway lol. We will probably go get a couple weeks of groceries and maybe some wobbly pops lol ,other than that I’m fine with staying home. I hope you all are doing ok , take care. Lewis

I’m on day 12 of self isolation so I haven’t been out to any stores so not sure what’s going on there. I personally think that Facebook should be shut down in this time of crisis. I deleted my account a year ago. What I have been told is there is so much hype lies and foolishness being posted on there that it is causing a lot of the hysteria and stupidity.

Update. I just looked, there are 13 deaths and 24 staff have the virus at that nursing home.

There is a nursing home in Ontario Canada that had 9 deaths. You are right William , my thoughts exactly —— stay home unless it’s necessary. Protect yourself. Be cautious and be aware of you surroundings at all times. This is something no one has every seen and it’s here to stay for a long time.

My daughter is a nurse in a local hospital. She told me the story and showed me a video yesterday which brought tears to my eyes. The volunteer fire department which is close to her hospital showed up the other day in the hospital parking lot in full force with all their trucks and they all got out and saluted the nurses and doctors in the hospital. I thought that was so awesome.

Just heard two days ago that our trout season which is supposed to open April 1 has been pushed back till at least May 1. Makes no sense to me , as of now I am allowed to go in public and buy booze and cannabis or go through driv thrus in restaurants but I can’t go back in the woods to a brook all by myself to try and catch a trout. Makes no sense what’s so ever.

As of now our lobster season that closes on May 31 is at a stand still and is probably going to be shut down, so I will b out of work.

The grocery stores here are open at certain hours for seniors only. They are also putting in plexiglass dividers between the cashiers and the public.

You are so right William, between social media stupidity posts and just plain stupid people, it causes panic. While I was down south a friend text me a post someone put on fb that the liquor stores were closing down last Wednesday, guess what everyone did ?? Ya they panicked and went and bought all they could. The NS liquor stores were not closing down they were just going to reduce their hours. But because of someone’s stupidity, it caused unnecessary panic. I am allowed out on my own property just not wanted in public, which I have no problem with.

New update, the Nova Scotia government has now declared a state of emergency here in NS, it says self isolation will now be policed and anyone caught out will receive a $1000 fine per day and they are asking no gatherings of over 5 people. As of today there are 28 maybe cases here in NS, people staying home will help prevent more from spreading, which makes sense.

Since the gf and I travelled to the Dominican Republic last week we now have to self isolate at home for two weeks, on day 3 now lol. We don’t have to by law but are strongly encouraged to. I think it is the smartest thing to do and don’t plan on going out and putting anyone at risk just in case. We both feel great and are not worried. I have firewood to pile and lots to keep me busy so it will go by quick lol. The rest of our lobster season that closes on May 31 could be shut down real soon. Take care everyone ?

Thanks Shaun , I’ll be ok. Our teenage boys have to stay with our ex’s for the next two weeks, I have lots of food in the freezer , lots of duty free booze and a very sexy gf. I’ll be just fine stuck on house arrest for two weeks lol.
