Re: WAITING FOR THE PERFECT WIND I'd hunt that spot in the morning. Morning thermals will carry your sent up and over the trail below you if your hunting up on a ridge. But I wouldn't hunt it in the evening as the opposite would happen.

Re: Heavy or light Broadheads??? On whitetail it really doesn't matter both will get the job done and most likely be 6 inches in the ground after your passthru. On bigger game a heavier broadhead would be better.

Re: Who does it? I've cut my thumb and index finger pretty good 2 years ago. I'd switched from 3 blade muzzy to 4 blade muzzy and have been using my fingers to removing the broadheads. It doesn't work so well with the 4 blade muzzy I found out .

Re: So this is what it feels like...(long) Sorry to hear that, could happen to anyone. You worked at it and did your best to recover your deer. The yotes need to eat too. Like I said could happen to anyone of us.
