I'd hunt that spot in the morning. Morning thermals will carry your sent up and over the trail below you if your hunting up on a ridge. But I wouldn't hunt it in the evening as the opposite would happen.

On whitetail it really doesn't matter both will get the job done and most likely be 6 inches in the ground after your passthru. On bigger game a heavier broadhead would be better.

I've cut my thumb and index finger pretty good 2 years ago. I'd switched from 3 blade muzzy to 4 blade muzzy and have been using my fingers to removing the broadheads. It doesn't work so well with the 4 blade muzzy I found out .

Sorry to hear that, could happen to anyone. You worked at it and did your best to recover your deer. The yotes need to eat too. Like I said could happen to anyone of us.
