  6. Re: New 360 degree Ameristep blinds......SWEET !!! [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] quality is just as good.... [/ QUOTE ] Whatever. There is no way Ameristep will ever build a blind up to the quality of a D.B. Say what you want, but you get what you pay for. I'll stick with my Matrix. [/ QUOTE ] preach on bro right on
  7. Re: Sighting In for heights [ QUOTE ] when you go out to shoot, given you are bending at the waist and have proper form, you will hit dead on. As said earlier gravity is constant, distance is constant. Where most people get a little thrown off is that shooting from heights you still need to measure to the taget in a direct horizontal line. I.E. if your way up a tree and the deer is standing 15yds from your tree, he may appear to be farther than 15yds (due to your elevated height, but in reality you need to still shoot with your "15yd" pin. Just make sure of your form. [/ QUOTE ] ditto well said "bent at the waist don't drop your bow arm"
  8. Working on sighting in my trykon with a biscuit at 30 yrds. So far I like the whisker biscuit. I had drop away on my last bow thought I'd give it a try.

  10. Re: And then there was 11............. congrats. nice shooting
  11. Re: NOCK??????????????????? VtBowhunter, I've shot thru paper at 5ft and 9ft. Yes, they fit different in the biscuit the diam. of the term. hunters is larger than the goldtips so the goldtips are looser in the biscuit. I haven't moved the nock yet to see if that would help. It is shooting good groups with field points now. It just seems to work out better when switching to broadheads if the bow is paper tuned to shoot bullet holes. Thanks for the reply.
  12. Re: NOCK??????????????????? [ QUOTE ] The numbers are supposed to relate to what poundage draw weight the arrow can be shot from safely right? If so I'd say the 45/60's are way under-spined for a 70# bow Shoot the same spine arrows. [/ QUOTE ] The spine also changes with the lenght of the arrow. A 29inch 5575 goldtip will flex much more with a 30 inch draw than a 25 inch 5575 goldtip with a 26inch inch draw.
  13. Re: NOCK??????????????????? [ QUOTE ] 45/60 Terminator Hunters 55/75 GT's SPINE??? [/ QUOTE ] I quess it could be spine. But the arrow looks nock high on the bow with the goldtip and not the term. hunters. If I raise the rest to line the arrow up with the burger button it doesn't help the tear it makes it worse, so thought if I lowered the nock it would fix it??????? Thanks
  14. I'm shooting a trykon 70 lbs 26" draw. My 25.5" 4560 term. hunters shoot a perfect bullet hole. My goldtip 5575 same lenght arrow is tearing nock high about 1/4 inch. Why???? is it because the diam. of the 5575 is smaller than the 4560 making me nock high with the 5575?? I shoot the 5575 goldtip not the 4560 term. hunters I just had them laying around and thought I would shoot them. I thought if I lowered my nock 1/8 inch and raised the rest to center the arrow with the burger button that might fix it. The arrow with the term. hunters is centered better with the burger button than the goldtips. The goldtips are going across at the bottom of the berger button. Also the rest is a whisker biscuit. What is the best way to fix this setup?????????
