Wow...it must be something in the air. This morning I went on a run/gun mission since I have not hunted my area and because I was hunting at my Dads. Well I was out at dawn and had one answer but it would not commit so I left it alone. I traveled to the area where my son shot his and walked and called to see if I could strike something. About 7:50am I let out a call on the box call and get a thundering gobble back. I plop down and get the gear on and call again...he is coming...about 100 yards out I see this big fan and huge head coming through the woods..spitting and drumming the whole way to the gun where he met a load of #6 Hevi shot from my Moss 935. He weighed 21lb 11 oz (digital scale), 10.5 inch beard, one spur was about 13/16", the other was 1 1/16". He is at the taxidermist as I type!!
