  1. Didn't get drawn in, I have put in for five years, and yet a guy I work with gets drawn EVERY year! I called wildlife dept and they said its not a "true preference point" system. I dont know what they call it,but I call it bush league.
  2. Guys, thanks for all the replies, look at my thread Update: Thieves caught!
  3. They looked like they may poop themselves when 2 Glocks and a M-16 got pointed at them!
  4. They are cutting beans and corn right now, so the food will be out of the fields, if you can dump a pile of corn, that will bring some in, but I never see the big bucks on corn, most of them youll have to put in time to kill, or get lucky! Good Luck!
  5. So I hung a cardboard box I spray painted black in the same place the camera that was stolen was. I put a Day 6 Outdoors Plot Watcher on the other side of the field, kinda high up in a tree. I checked that plot watcher Thursday night and had the guys on camera! They were in there stealing the iron (pipe, i beams etc) that we had on the place, and I guess took my cameras so they wouldn't get caught. I figured out what time they were coming into the place, so about noon Friday I had my wife drop me off, so my car wasn't around, and I put my leafy realtree suit on and went and sat off the road about 30 yards. Not more than 30 minutes later HERE THEY CAME! I had already forwarded the photos to a friend who works for the OKC PD, and he had extra guys in the area for when I called in. I called dispatch and told them the thieves were there, and the cops responded! I couldn't get to the main road before 2 officers were waiting, we jumped on my Stealth and rode up to the thieves as they were leaving with a load. They were taken with guns drawn and arrested. They did admit to stealing the cameras and pipe and were booked into jail on Grand Larceny charges. I still don't have my cameras back, but its good to know we caught the guys responsible for it. The cops are going to go to the pawn shop the guys told them they pawned my cameras at and try to recover them for me. Just wanted to give you guys an update.

  15. Thanks everyone, we have had a great time over the past 3 years, 160" buck bowkill for ginger, then Jesse shot a 155" with his bow last year, and now this 145" muzzleloader and the best thing is the bowseason hasn't started for Jesse and I yet!!!
  16. Once again Ginger and Jesse Morehead are hunting with me in Kansas. Jesse and I had been scouting a lot the month of August and early this September. Ginger wants to stay home more this year with their boy in school now, so she decided to Muzzleloader hunt the early season in Kansas. Well Sunday was a good day for Ginger! A few does fed by the setup, on the ground, in a brush blind. Thirty minutes before dark this handsome rascal approached, and the TC Pro Hunter laid him in his tracks. 80 yard shot, open sights ( no scopes allowed during muzzleloader season). Just wanted to share with you all first, should be on Monster Bucks next year! Brad
  17. Tim, when you are headed to Kansas let know, you know how to get ahold of me. We are seeing really good bucks already and Jesse and Ginger Morehead have full run of my farm now, I am in trouble!!!
  18. Try the new DElta Buck Decoy, it has a smaler body, which wont intimidate bucks near as bad, and they will come to it more agressively. Just my 2 cents, but I know it works!
  19. I have 2 of the Cabelas Cash Cards, if you buy 100 ou get 25 etc... I will send them to the first 2 who PM me the info. Brad
