Re: Going Scouting in \"God\'s country\" Hey everyone, I had a great trip scouting, of course my stupid self left my camera sitting at the house and got up there without it. So, needless to say no photos. LabLab is a Tecomate Seed that is a pea. The deer LOVE IT and it really puts a lot of antler on them this time of year. I saw 63 deer in the lablab friday night and 3 "shooter" bucks out of the 16 bucks in the field. One was the big 12 I have watched for a couple years, he is now about 175" and still has august to grow, so he may go down this year! The other 2 were all of 160 or better!!!! I will get photos next time I go up and hopefully OCT 1, I will have venison in the freezer and antlers on the wall!

Hey everyone, I am headed to my ranch in Kansas to scout this weekend. The lablab is 3feet high and the bucks are in it Ive heard! I will take some pics hopefully and post next week.

Re: This tick anyone else off? I really dont care either way, I understand why they clean the deer up first, but at the same time, thats part of hunting. My brother and I always take a pic with the deers tounge out and we will stick our tounge out of our mouth as well, just for fun!

Re: Can\'t hold a real tight group. I had the same problem a few years back. A good friend of mine and a heck of an archer totally took me back to scratch with my form, release, anchor point etc.... It felt so weird to anchor the string on the end of my nose, but now that I do it, I outshoot him at times and he is the 9 time state broadhead champion! I heard today that a young guy in northeast kansas shot a 31 point non-typical and it will be #6 in the state once it dries. Pretty impressive, I am working on getting pics, once I do, they will be here! It was a bowkill as well!

I heard that there was a huge 31 point non-typical killed in northeast kansas that will be the #6 deer in the state after the drying period. I am working to get pics of this deer, I will post them when I do! Nice bowkill, huh!
