Re: Montana Decoys i use mine whenever i'm hunting steep groud as there is no weight.they fold up real easy,i use their carry bag so they really set up fast.i modified my fan gobbler with some tail feathers attached to look like a strutting jake.give them a try!

Choke,load help Benelli Nova I've shot over 20 gobblers with mine including a slam,won several stilltarget shoots and never saw anything run away from this rattle(?) which i tighten up with a metric allen wrench.Maybe you just want another gun?Hmmm? wonder if the "Queen" would fall for that?You may be on to something.

Choke,load help Benelli Nova owned a nova since they first came out.polish the barrel,smooth up the trigger,buy a comp-n-choke .655, win hi velocity 6's or 5's kick's .670 for hevi 13 or jelly head.655.terror.640 hevi shot.my nova will shoot federal flight control's but really likes win hi velocity or hevi 13.

well i finally got a longbeard for the team,it was down to the wire,but we gotter done.8 1/2 on beard,7/8 on spurs,really skinny,14lb mountain bird.i'll send pics to borch for posting.that should make three birds entered if last one has made it in.

well,it's the last weekend for oregon,headed across the border to seek out some tom's in the high country.haven't seen any news from anyone .have we got that secound bird entered yet?sure hope there's some time left for you guys to get a bird,go team.

Re: Realtree Turkey Team #18 well saturday morning looked really good to start out.i knew where four long beards were fighting for dominance(thursday noon work start).got in early set up on the route ,had long beard all the way up draw,80 yds spinning and drumming.all of a sudden,periscope up,snood up,long beard down low around the rocks and gone!what's up?partner move?(no)around the ridge,head'm off.two yelps,just above us,"their call'in right below us".Busted on public land.not only did they not honor our set up,but i lost my spec 1 striker with 15 notches.i'll be there saturday morning looking for that green striker protector,then look for a gobbler.go team

Re: Realtree Turkey Team #18 went out this weekend with first time father and young son.we turkey hunted the right way,and they really got the idea of what its all about.dad got a really nice merriams jake,son was on wrong side of tree unfortunately.i think they will be joining the federation and jr has a jakes membership on the way,courtesy of yours truely.i was hoping for a long beard in front of me,but it felt really good helping these guys start out on the right foot.northern idaho for longbeards this weekend.go team
