Hi Ken, I finally got to come in and look. I am really glad we went! Everyone there was Great! I have too get in here and post the few pics I got as wel. I want to thank Shawn and Gord again...I cant wait till next year already!

I sold the aluminum one...I only have an older fiberglass 16 ft...nothing at all like the one in the pic though. They are getting tough to find in good used condition...If I see one somewhere I will post it on here for you...

I will help you with your cabin if you help me with mine swampy.... We have to get ready for this season now...I want to start planting some small plots...

Thank you for the prayers everyone!! They worked, I got the call today saying the lynph node was negative for cancer....I guess Swampy and all of you whom were thoughfull enough to think of me and my family, and pray for me...get to put up with me a while longer. Glad they got busted...enough people look at hunting as bad!!! We dont need to make it worse.

Is it your land, or public. If its yours I would clear out a 15 yard strip near one of those trees you can put a stand in, and plant some clover or something down it. You will have it all then, Food, water and cover all in one area...if you can get in and out undetected, should be heaven! Good luck

I bought a lesser expensive GPS myself a year ago and loved it last season. I used to find all sorts of good spots while still hunting ... and could never find half of them again...Not anymore. Best $100 I ever spent on hunting supplies other tah a good gun, and warm clothes.

I try to find time now and then..lol I have only seen 1 bear while in the woods...In a zone where you cant shoot them.. anyways. Those things are fast, I am pretty sure it was a smaller one, it ended up in an old dump site in the back up under a bunch of stuff. Wanted him to come out so I could see it, but it out waited me..lol. Hopefully I can get a close up in Canada.. Before and after. I am so excited!!! I am really getting pumped up for the hunt.. I love hunting with swampy anywhere...we always seem to kill something... for example...remember the time I caught that guy in my stand...lol (just kidding). well, thanks for the prayers all...I am back at it...although a little slower than usual for now. I did manage to get a doe a few days ago and will post the pics and tag for the entry. No luck here yet....temps have been way warmer than usual and deer just arent moving at all. The temps are starting to drop now...so hopefully they will start. Rifle season starts tom. so its buck only..till the begining of Dec, then late muzzle loader should prove to be interesting. I love hunting with snow. good luck everyone! I will be plugging away! Re: Team 20 I havent posted my new pics yet, I have a heck of a time posting them! I did however send them to my buddy swamphunter1968. He will post them for me. The nineth point barely makes it, but I took a pic next to the ruler to show it did. Not as heavy as last years, but 170 lbs is good for me. How much meat should I have gotten off of him (about)? I ended up with 71 lbs of meat total. Is that ok?

Re: Team 20 I took a real nice 9 point tonight. I will post the pics soon so we can upgrade our score. Untill tonight my biggest was an 8pt. The 9th point is gonna be close so I will make sure in the morning. The new 270 works great!!!
