Re: 30 - 30 ?? Shot placement........Out to 125 yards for sure will take one down. I just have one problem. I want to put a scope on mine and its not the angle eject....any ideas?

Re: 140\" or better.. How many have U seen in your life I guess im hunting the wrong spots.... Untill last year, I had not shot a buck in 3 yrs....let alone even seen a big one. Last year was my biggest....not a huge racked 8 but he dressed at 192 lbs....a record for me I guess...lol

I am taking my 7yr old out tom. after school. she loves it too. I am starting her early.... I would rather have her hunt than get into trouble anyday.....besides, I spend some quality time with her that way. Good luck all...and YES...he hit the water nice and hard! LOL

Re: fair weather hunters!!!!! I went out today with my 7yr old daughter ( she loves hunting with dad). The weather was horrible, but man were they flying!!! I took my biggest goose ever ...14lbs. I might skip deer hunting tommorow and blast some more!!! Fair weather hunters.....let them lounge!!!!! More for us! Good luck all... bdboy53

Can anyone tell me what the NYS record is for a goose? I shot a banded goose about 3 hours ago and its over 14lbs. I know some other states have larger ones im sure, but I was wondering about NY. Thank you BDBOY53

Re: Team 20 I may try tommorow .....if I can get there in this weather. The weather is supposed to be crummy on Mon. asw well now. Katie still wants to go shoot some geese though... I may take her today too. for a couple hours anyways. I have a couple other places to go tommorow if I cant get to the regular spot. I cant get the survey guy to call me back. Re: Team 20 got a 4 point yesterday with the 54 cal. I will have pics of me with the deer. I am taking them in the morn. 9 points for us. our regular season starts sat. so I will be out sat and sun to try and better the score. Good luck all. Ed
