  1. Nice videos man...good stuff. Liked that green lumenok too
  2. So how would you compare the cleaning process of the whitehots to triple 7 or pyrodex?
  3. Have to throw Alpen Apex 10x42's in there. I have a zeiss conquest 4.5-14x44 and those bino's keep up in low light almost as well as the zeiss. I love them, and the eye cups are comfortable. Got mine off amazon for something like $230.
  4. The sony handycam is a really good option. Thats what weve used, small with good picture quality.
  5. The Leupold RX series are awesome range fingers. I loved the RXII, now looking at the 750
  6. I have a Zeiss conqest 4.5-14x44 scope on my 300WSM, and can easily say it's the best glass ive ever looked through. Then when deciding what bino's to go with, i went and looked thru as many pairs as i could get my eyes thru. I ended up getting a pair of Alpen Apex 10x42's and have been very pleased. I can scan with my binoculars until all the light is gone. Which is pretty cool being able to see deer when they think there invisible.
  7. My biggest goal is to find the brighest available sight. 5 pins, and low light performance is basically what it comes down to. I like the Team Extreme sights, but half of the ones i pick up, the pins are bent.
  8. Whats everyones opinions as to the best sight to date. Taking into account brightness, durability, ease of tuning, price, overall look, etc.
  9. The WLE's are a few years old now, I wouldn't call them outdated by anymeans. But most trailcams now have a video option built in.
  10. I'm pretty sure it was a G5 Tekan...seeing that hunt is what put me over the edge about shooting them this year. It seemed like every dear that was shot with them just demolished them.
  11. Who's shooting which one...and how'd you pick one over the other.
  12. I'm still rocking the original switchback, and still can't be happier. I shot my friends hyperlight a few days ago and i wasnt 'that' impressed. If Mathews hasn't come out with something that suits my eye a little better in the next few years, my next bow will be a Hoyt. Lol it almost hurt to say that...
  13. I'm switching to team extreme this year myself. Just havent decided which one.
  14. Ive always shot a string loop. If you take just a knock and draw back just on the string, you can notice an extreme downward angle that would no doubt cause a wave like action.
  15. He went to Athens Drive high school..it's all of 10 minutes from my house. It's still great to see how well he's doing after going thru such a hard time.
  16. First time ive visited the fishing section. Just wanted to throw up a couple pics... 1st one was a 10.10 from 1/28/09. 2nd is a 5.9 during my lunch break last summer. 3rd is a solid 4lbr right before christmas. And the 4th one is 1 of 2 back to back 5 pounders...best 5 that day ended up going 20 pounds, all in an hour and 45 minutes.
  17. I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40 for sale. Rain guard coating, Fast Focus Eyepiece, Matte black finish. Still have the original box. Scope is in excellent condition, no scratches on scope or glass. Can post pictures if needed. Id like to get $150, but it's negotiable. Id rather somebody have it on their rifle then for it to sit in the house.
  18. Not the d-40, but ive had the I-40 game spy with IR for a few weeks now. It's my first trail cam, and i couldn't be happier. Always thought cuddeback was the way to go, but alot of complains on this year model..ended up with the I-40.
  19. I just started putting mine on my backpack kinda like waddell does. I just make sure when i put my bag up in the stand that my quiver is facing me incase i need a 2nd shot.
  20. Easy casey...i'm pretty sure Nikon would catch the humor as well. I have to agree with Randy, Zeiss scopes are unreal. If they made a muzzleloader scope, id save up for one, but i don't think they do. My choices are between Nikon Omega or the Leoupold UltimateSlam. There both great scopes, don't need 300 yard BDC, so it all comes down to low light capability...and havent had enough input on either to make a decision.
