Hey everyone, I have been forever a avid deer hunter but coyote hunting has always intrigued me. Now I have the opportunity to start! I live in a suburb outside of Indy and my mom's friend has a farm outside city limits. She has had a problem with a group of 10-12 coyotes running the property and harassing animals. She would like me to come out and start harvesting them. I am really excited, the only problem is, I don't know much about coyote hunting. I don't have any decoys, calls or fancy coyote guns. This is where YOU come in. Any advice or suggestions you have for me, throw them at me! I am eager to learn more about this increasingly popular sport! -I will be using a Mossberg 535 12gauge shotgun with a 22" barrel. I can shoot shells up to 3.5". What loads/chokes do you recommend for hunting dogs with this gun? -Can you recommend any calls, decoys or other essentials I will need to be successful? One thing to keep in mind, I am a college student on a low budget, so the more wallet friendly these necessities are, the better! Any feedback at all is helpful. Thanks for your time!

watched a doe literally walk beneath my stand this morning. pretty neat. she was quartering away at 3 yards and broadside at 5. tempting, but since she was the first deer I saw in stand this year, I gave her a free pass... i love october.

hey everyone, this season i will be using a hand-me down .52 caliber muzzle loader for the late season. i am having a hard time finding shooting supplies for it. any ideas or experience with this caliber of smokepole?

I also shoot a 2008 Parker Trailblazer XP and absolutely love it. Rocking it out at 62# with Carbon Express Predator 2arrows tipped with RAAAGE 2's. love the set up. Parker is one of the most underrated bows on the market IMO.

i also urinate off of my stand when I need to. I have never had a deer spook due to scenting my urine. Deer smell all types of urine in their home ranges, I don't think peeing off of a tree stand makes a difference AT ALL. And I definitely don't want to be one of those weirdos who transports a jug filled with p*ss to and from my stand. creepy. lol. just let it loose!
