Got a few pictures of this guy....we have pictures of him last year and one of his sheds. We aren't sure of his age though....last year we guessed him to be 3.5 or 4.5...

I am not sure how long the snake was....just looks big from the picture though. lol And I know I kinda thought it was a bullsnake to, but the shape of the head just doesn't match up. Can bull snakes flatten out there head like that when PO'ed?

Yes, this is in NW Iowa. My Uncle and cousin were hunting and almost stepped on it. I know there are prairie rattlers in the Loess Hills in this area, but this does not look like one of them. I have never seen a snake like this or one this big! lol

Can anyone tell me what kind of snake this is? Thinking bull snake just because of the area it was in, but it didn't really look like one.
