Our season opened here in Ohio the beginning of October. I waited all year for it to arrive, i was very excited. We spend alot of time and money preparing my property during the summer months with food plots, feeders, and our best hobby the cameras with the endless number of photos we get. Once the season started I was pumped, I had over 12 different bucks on film and could not wait to get in the stand. Well after not seeing to many bucks in October, November came along and on the first weekend we went my buddy shot a nice 8pt on Friday night and I shot a big 8 on Sunday morning.
After all the celebrating and showing off our pics its finally hitting me that my season is over. It was my best ever but the SHORTEST one too. I can still shoot 2 does but i really have no need for the meat. I just hate for it to be over, the weather is just perfect for sitting in a stand nice and cold. I guess I have to wait for next year.
Just needed to vent, cause the wife just dont understand and she is getting sick of hearing about it. Good luck to all of you.... Its going to be a really LONG winter...
