Re: how good of a shot? ok youngbuck sorry for doubting you. i just remembered that the first deer i shot a couple years ago was 350 yards away. and the gun i was using was..................... 270 rem. with handloads. so i believe you now. if you ever want a really flat shooting gun just let me know i have a 7mm-300wtby. its a 300 weatherby necked down to7mm. spits out a 160 grain boattail at about 3600fps. so just let me know.the only catch is you have to hand load everything. its custom made. so yeah. write back. huntin in montana, cole smith
