I wanted to let everyone know that I am out the door on my way to Reno,NV. I will be westbound for about 26 hours. I have to go up to Dike,Iowa first and pick up a new target for my shows. Then I will hop on I-80 and hope to make it there on time. I am supposed to be there to set up tomorrow night by 6pm!! The Oitker's always have a challenge to get somewhere!:D:D It is freezing rain here and for about the next 200 miles. It is so bad at home they canceled schools today. My mom will keep everyone updated on how things are going. It will be just gas and go and maybe a quick stop at a fast food place. I will be staying at some huge casino called Grand Sierra Resort and Casino! I have never gambled before! Think I might try $10 or $20 just to see how I will do!! Look at SCI's website,(www.scifirstforhunters.org) there is a lot of stuff going on there.I am listed under seminars. Even President Bush on Saturday! I would like to meet him but I have to leave Sat. night as soon as show closes because I have to be in Rosemont,IL. on Wednesday next week. For the new America's Outdoor Expo. But I will have to go home first and put out more hay for the cows! Talk about Busy!! Maybe some Forum members will be there! I hope they don't close I-80 on me! Randy

I just received confirmation today from the Guinness World Records that I will be going to Rome, Italy! I have been working on this for about 3 weeks. I did not want to say anything until it was finalized. Today i received my plane, hotel and contract confirmation. I will be filming for the LE SHOW DEI RECORD-Guinness World Records on Feb. 24 and Feb.25. Hold on for a possible new Guinness surprise! I am still working with ABC on the JImmy Kimmel Show,just trying to squeeze in a date during my busiest time of the year. I will let everyone know as soon as i receive confirmation.

I am out the door to go hunting in Kansas. I hope that the hunting is better there than it has been in IL. I have hunted literally every day in different counties even and have not seen very many deer this year. Maybe changing states will be better. I will be eating gas station food today! We ate our turkey last Sunday. I am always in KS. on Thanksgiving. It's a tradition!! Good Luck All!! Randy

Ross, Sorry to hear about the loss of Hershey. It always a loss to lose a pet. I hope that you have many pictures of him.

I have not run into any anti-hunters yet but I did run into some non-hunters at a show. I had some kids come up while I had a hunting video playing. I noticed that the kids were watching the video and they said to me "you just shot that deer." Then their parents came up and said we aren't hunters. I explained to them that hunting was necessary to keep the animals healthy and in check. I also explained that we eat the animals that we shoot out of respect for the animal and that it helps to keep the herd under control . They actually went away understanding why hunting is necessary. I am sure that there will be a day that things will get ugly with an anti-hunter.
