Say fellas, I'm getting a new turkey choke, I asked in the turkey forum and got some answers but I have another question. What do you guys think of Hevi Shot? I've heard tons of stuff about the H.S. Strut Hevi Shot Undertaker choke tube combined with #5,6 Hevi Shot. Supposedly for some(and yes I know, keyword being "some") its the best combo they can get for their 12 gauges. I know I have to try things out, but I also don't want to buy 1 million chokes! I'm also looking at: Primos Tightwad Primos JellyHead Truglow Gobble-Stopper

Re: Writing a book... Depends on what the reading is man, usually if its to do with hunting, its going to get read by me. You have a good chance at your books being read, ESPECIALLY turkey stories, I work at a retail store in the sports department and my main sections are hunting, fishing and camping. People buy lots of books on both ice fishing and turkey hunting(in the seasons) because these two things tend to be a little complicated or technical to most. Write on buddy, keep your stories alive and let others learn from those mistakes! -Mossy

OK guys the sportsmen show is in a few weeks and I'm looking for a new choke tube. Maybe you guys can help me decide on what type of choke my gun needs because I have no idea!!! All I want boys is a turkey dead I don't have much of a preferance, I have just never bought extra tubes and this year I want to grab one. Re: Realtree Turkey Team #8 Well boys I got three areas to turkey hunt in, all with crazy turkey populations. This years looking good, and I'm definately looking to bag a stupid jake on opening day. I won't submit this one and after that I'll hunt nice toms for my second bird and hopefully I can make one of those happen for a submission.

Guys I just bought a new red dot scope, the Bushnell Trophy. Now, when I sight it in with various loads for turkey season, do I sight it in precisely like with slugs or do I want it sighted in for my prefered load? Know what I mean like, I would think I want the red dot to be accurate at 40 yards with a shotgun spread rather than a slug, then just hope the spread from a shell is AS accurate as the slug. (p.s. I don't mean I want to use slugs for turkey season because thats illegal, but I want to know if I should be accurate with a spread, or precisely right on bulls eye and I can only tell that with a slug)

Re: non-res youth Quebec Thats true reddot, last year we went to quebec in Laniel, stayed at the Chalet Diane with a good buddy of ours named Ralph. We went for a week of moose and the day we left I had just turned 18, so I was legal. I think 17 is okay, to tell you the truth, I wouldn't worry about it too much, I think its legal but double check.
