Re: WOO HOO! Number 10,000!!!
Wow, 10,000 post in less than 3 1/2 years. Do you have time to do anything else besides post on here?
just giving you a hard time, that is quite an accomplishment.
Re: Dixie Chicks take home hardware
The same non-patriotic trash that voted for those three, are the ones trying to get hunting, fishing, and trapping outlawed.....Why would anybody want people that think like them in the White house? 2008 is going to be a defining time for america
Re: no more hardwoods HD green
I have looked in both Cabelas and Bass pro, neither offer the HD green in a lightweight type hunting coat, pants, or Bibs.
Re: Browning BPS ?
I have both guns, and love them!! I read alot on here about the 870, and they are nice but for a left handed shooter like my self you can't beat the bottom eject.
Well built guns....two thumbs UP!
Does anybody build and or maintain wood duck boxes for the local marsh or river? If so do you keep any records as far as which direction they face? I maintain about 75 boxes in the Muskegon river marsh and just wanted to compare notes with guys doing the same.
Thanks
It appears that realtree has new camo pattern for this year....APG? I don't think it looks nearly as good as the hardwoods HD green. I think it has way too much open type look to it. I prefer the old style....anybody else have the same feeling?
Re: Lets see your turkey guns!
Will post pics when I figure out how.
1. Browning BPS 12 ga with a Mad Max choke and fiber optic sights
2. New England 10 ga with Rhino choke, red dot scope, recoil suppressor in the stock (must have)..throwing 3 oz of nitro ammunition.
3. TK2000 Knight muzzelloader in Realtree HD camo
4. This year I am taking out my Hoyt Bow.
Re: Jelly head or Tight wad choke?
If you are shooting heavy shot, go with the jellyhead, I shoot nitro ammunition with the jellyhead out of my Browning BPS and inside of 25 yards, you will know why it is called the jellyhead...complete destructiion
I am going to be planting my first food plot and was wondering what a good size is? I will be doing most of the work with my quad, I don't have the fancy equipment...just a few simple things....drag, disc, cultivator.
Thanks for the help
I am going to be hunting turkeys this year with my bow and I was wondering what some of you other arrow flingers were using for turkeys?
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks
Jim
I am really interested in making a trip out to Western South Dakota for a Merriams hunt. Has anybody hunted here and if so, Does it hold a good population of turkeys and how was the weather when you were there? I hear it can be pretty rough.
Thanks
