i had a buddy that was shooting Remington core locks last yr and he had two rounds that didn't go off..one on a hog and one on an 8 pt. needless to say that was the end of that. I've heard the same thing from several other ppl as well

from what i've seen it has absolutely no affect. i was hunting one morning and about 7 30 my tonsils were floating from all the coffee i had drank that morning. So i quietly climbed down and went pee on an old stump about 70-80 yds from my stand. Climbed back in the stand and at 800 i shot and 8 pt standing no less than 10 steps from that stump...ever since then if i need to go i just let it flow. i believe getting down from the tree is by far worse..never know whats hangin around that you didn't see yet...just my two cents worth

the best bow on the market is by far the one that fits you best...w/e it may be....whether its $200 or $1200. its all about you...

i prefer the 7mm-08...great shooting little gun esp for beginners

shot powerbelts for yrs and lost lots of deer and even the ones i did find w/ perfect shots never bled a lick. Same result from many guys i hunt with. Dont get me wrong they do load easy and shoot very well, but there is no comparison to the TC shockwaves. I highly recommend them, plus they are cheaper...I agree totally w/ tominator, hands down winner

i too signed up and didn't contribute last yr just bc i was in school and had lots of other things going on that i really just never got around to posting my kills. i did so however the yr before and i plan on posting them this yr

whats up team...sorry i'm just gettin on we been down w/ the hurricane and everything. Hope everyone has a great season. I'll be starting out hopefully sept 20th depending on the weather and will be hunting until middle of february. i'll be making trips to Arkansas, Mississippi, and Nebraska as well as hunting my home state of Louisiana so i'll be sure to get us some points...good luck to all

they're evacuating hospitals around here too..just not the one i'm at so it looks like i'll be at the hospital next three days..its not looking good, waiting to see today if we go under mandatory evacuation...but either way i have to stay behind to work

i bought a brand new garmin nuvi 200 off ebay for 134 bucks...i'd recommend going to ebay and check them out..just make sure is new and not a refurb

yup gas stations here already running out and as for as hotels there's nothing available...we'll be riding it out. I'll be at the hospital so at least i'll have A/C and TV to watch whats going on

yea, but i guess after you lose thousands of ppl to one hurricane ppl tend to overreact..all we can do is hope for the best. i dont think you guys have to worry too much over there. Hopefully something crazy happens and this thing just does something for the best for everyone. But until then we are preparing like the crazy media says...better safe than sorry

Well its not looking together for us southern folkes..i live 30 minutes north of lafayette, louisiana and as of now they have passing right up our alley.....if its a Cat 3 like they say it wont be good for us...Its going to be rough bc my dad will have to be home by himself to care for everything, while i'm at work bc i said i would work 24 hrs and sleep at the hospital in case they needed and my mom is in new york and wont be able to fly in. I hate to wish these thing upon other ppl but i hope it doesn't come here
