  1. Good luck with it!
  2. Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
  3. Remember this poll I made? http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96976 Well I took your advise with me to the frame shop and I chose....... A little of both. Here she be! I cleaned up 90% of the arrow. You cannot see it but there is blood on the broadhead and some on the white fletchings. I wish you could have seen the look on the girl at the frame shop when I brought in my arrow. She made me dull the blades so she wouldn't slice herself wide open. The print is going up on the wall in the man cave this weekend. I thought I would share the final results with you. Thank you everyone who voted!!!! Joe
  4. Here is a thread from another forum that may help. http://sassnet.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=145838
  5. This is what I do just about every other weekend in the summer. http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=59285 We create all of our own targets. If you are shooting lead cast bullets like we are (Required by SASS rules) then all you will need 3/8" steel. If you are shooting jacketed bullets you will need something much thicker. Now I know some of you are saying that 3/8" will handle most calibers but when jackets bullets start to put dents in the steel you will have bullet fragments coming straight back at you. Find someone who has a water jet cutter and make them your friend. Buy the steel yourself and have them cut your target shapes. You can use a torch if you are in a pinch. Another option is hit the scrap yards. Buy the steel cheap and have someone cut the shapes for you. Another option is find a sportsmans club that is going out of business. Sometimes you can buy their old target dirt cheap.
  6. Ooops my bad! You are absolutely correct!
  7. Gasoline = Red Container Diesel = Blue Container

LOL! I was thinking the same thing. Kyle, hit Craigs list and the garage sales and you will find plenty of furniture cheap. Here, http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/fua/
  11. Pbsssssssst! (Coffee all over monitor) Yeeaaaeah Joe. They have monkeys working behind the counter but the coffee and food is awesome.
  12. I usually make my own coffe but Tim Hortons rules the roost when it comes to coffee chains. Funny Don should mention it but Dunkin Donuts is just as big a rip off, if not more, than Starbucks!
  13. My season is also done. I think I set a record for the least many days out this year. Between family functions and lousy weather I just didn't get out that much. Its been great chatting with you all. Joe
  14. Starbucks is a HUGE ripoff. I try to avoid that place unless I'm dying of thirst. I get some of the best coffee at gas stations.
  15. That is also one of my favorites. Try this one, http://www.realtree.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34633
  16. Did you guys get any rain this morning? It should help with you fire.
  17. Enjoy your time off. I'm glad you are home safe. As a whole, would you say that your season was successful? Did you make your quota? Did you have more than one duck farts yesterday?
  18. Yes there is. I highly doubt this. I belong to 3 or 4 forums and we have some of the finest Mods out there. They were doing their job and calling them out is not going to help your cause. I didn't see the original post but sounds like you got banned for back door advertising and got caught. I'm sure that Mr. Hughes is very aware of what you are posting. Personally I could care less if you peeved. If you don't like the atmoshere here, leave.
  19. The most important thing to remember is not to over cook it!!!! It will be the toughest meat you will ever eat. My backstraps are cut about a 1/2" thick. They will spend less than 10 minutes on the grill and they are cooked through. Do an advanced search for a recipe I left in this room about 3 years ago. Great stuff.
  20. I was shocked when I read this in the news. No smoke down here yet but I'm I will get some. Good luck!
